ITINERARY

Meet upon arrival in Incheon Airport and proceed for sightseeing :

  • Imjingak – At the Gyeonggi Peace Center in Imjingak, you can watch a video on the current status of North Korea and view the household items and pictures of the North Korea. Mangbaedan is an altar; the refugees who had once lived in the north of MDL may salute their parents or grandparents left behind in North Korea on important holidays or whenever they miss them.
  • Odusan Unification Observatory– From this observation platform, Songaksan Mountain in the city of Gyeseongi and 63 Building in Seoul are visible.This observatory has five floors above ground and one underground. Various photos and computerized screens showing the reality of North Korea are displayed on the first and second floor. Products from North Korea can also be purchased here.
  • Songhakkim Seaweed Museum – Songhakgim is a brand of seaweed harvested from some of the cleanest waters of the Western Sea, where the fresh waters of the rivers and the salty waters of the ocean mix. Rich in minerals and other nutrients, it is said to be healthier than other brands because of the abundant sunlight it receives as it grows.
  • Sanmeoru Wine Tunnel – for wild grape wine tasting and have a chance to make personalize own bottle of wine.
  • Dongdaemun Market – Dongdaemun Market has been one of the major markets in Korea. Specializing in wholesale clothing, the market has grown large, having more than 20 shopping malls. A full range of fashion items that cover head to toe, are found in Dongdaemun Market at inexpensive prices.

Proceed for sightseeing :

  • Gyeongbokgung Palace – Remarkably, the most representative edifices of the Joseon Dynasty, Gyeonghoeru Pavilion and Hyangwonjeong Pond, have remained relatively intact. Woldae and the sculptures of Geunjeongjeon (The Royal Audience Chamber) represent past sculptures of contemporary art.
  • Blue House – The signature markings of the Presidential Residence of Cheong Wa Dae are its blue tiles. It is the first thing that catches one’s attention upon entering the premises. The blue tiles and the smooth roof blend beautifully with Mt. Bugaksan in the backdrop.
  • Samcheong dong street art – The street is filled with such interesting shops and beautiful architecture that you can really just enjoy getting lost exploring the little shops and corners of every street and intersection. The cafes and restaurants are also good here! There are italian restaurants/international eats in traditional hanok style buildings, and also good traditional korean food places here!
  • Local Product Shopping in Ginseng Gallery/Dawon Korea Hoganbo/Red pine korea
  • Namsan park – Namsan Park is a historical site. You will find Bonghwadae (beacon mound) at the top as it was once the center of capital defense. During the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) the capital was changed to Hanyang,(current Seoul) and to protect the city from invasions, castle walls were built on the 4 major mountains like Mt. Bukaksan, Mt. Inwangsan, Mt. Naksan and Mt. Namsan. On Namsan peak, five beacons were built to report the news from local governments to the central government with a five-signal system.
  • Love wall korea – This place has now become a popular date spot for couples. Like the Pont Neuf bridge in Paris, couples head to the tower to lock their “padlock of love” onto the railing and to dream that their love will last forever.

  • Bukchon Hanok Village – Surrounded by Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine, Bukchon Hanok Village is home to hundreds of traditional houses, called hanok, that date back to the Joseon Dynasty. The name Bukchon, which literally translates to “northern village,” came about as the neighborhood lies north of two significant Seoul landmarks, Cheonggyecheon Stream and Jongno. Today, many of these hanoks operate as cultural centers, guesthouses, restaurants and tea houses, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience, learn and immerse in Korean traditional culture.
  • Proceed for Shopping (Korea Cosmetic / Local Food Products)
  • Transfer to Incheon Airport for flight back to Singapore.
