On this stop, also visit Han Chin Pet Soo – Malaysia’s first Hakka tin mining Museum. Here you will gain insight into the early history and migration of the Hakka community from China into Ipoh.

19:00 Marvel at the beautiful produce from the Cameron Highlands, as you explore a night market nearby to your hotel. The market is a great place to pick up a souvenir, practice your bargaining skills or try some good ‘pasar malam’ food

09:00 After breakfast, transfer to a smaller coach to travel to the BOHTea Plantation. Here you will see the processing of tea from withering, drying, rolling, fermenting, grading and packing and learn about Malaysian teas in a truly spectacular setting.

13:30 Continue your countryside tour to:

• Ye Olde Smoke House – an authentic English Cottage (photography permitted outside only)
• Tanah Rata Town Centre – this is the administrative capital of Cameron Highlands where the government offices, hospital and the district police station is located. 
• Strawberry Farm and Rose Valley – Strawberry farms can be found almost everywhere in Cameron Highlands offering visitors locally grown strawberries and home-made jams at a cheap price. Cameron Highlands is the leading producer of fresh flowers in Malaysia. At the flower gardens and nurseries, be dazzled with the mix of colors and species being grown here. The common flowers grown here are roses, carnations, chrysanthemum, dalia, geranium, fuschia and gladioli.
